I have spoken to and used quite a few driving schools over the past 12 - 18 months. I found SLK Driving School to be the most reliable & professional. My instructor is patient and friendly and understands when I'm not having a good day or, don't quite grasp something and alters his instruction accordingly. Top class.

When i started lessons i was extremely nervous and thought i would never learn but mark was patient and with no time i was on the road! i passed first time!!! he's a great instructor and i would highly recommend SLK.

Best driving instructor by far, passed my theory & practical first time, didnt think i could do it, was very very nervous when i started my lessons but was put at ease straight away, so patient & understanding if there is something you cant grasp, tells you when your ready for test but wont push you to book until you feel confident. can't fault slk i will recommend to everyone, will definetley be using slk to do my pass plus. Thankyou Mark.

Provisional Licence

Before you can get behind the wheel and start learning to drive, you have to hold a provisional driving licence. To apply for your provisional driving licence, click here or you can pick up a form at your local Post Office. It takes about 4 weeks for your licence to be sent to you - so make sure you apply early!

Driving Theory & Practical Tests

You can book your Theory Test on line directly through the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) by clicking here. You can also book your Practical Driving Test on line through the DSA by clicking here. Or, when we agree your ready, SLK Driving School can book it for you.
