SLK Driving School – The Car
SLK Driving School uses the latest Fiat Punto Grande 1.3 Multijet Active. The vehicles used by SLK Driving School are dual-controlled, and are especially chosen for their reliability, comfort and easiness to drive. They are very modern, regularly serviced and of course comprehensively insured for your use.
SLK Driving School cars have multiple seat adjustments to accommodate students of any height, Power Assisted Steering, Electric Mirrors, and good all round vision, to help make those tricky reversing  exercises so much easier. ABS Brakes makes for safer braking, and don’t forget all our vehicles have Dual Controls fitted to guarantee your safety.
When SLK Driving School students have achieved the required standard they can take their driving tests in the car they have used during instruction. Throughout the course the student will usually have the same car and the same instructor.
 

 

Driving Theory Test

You can book your Theory test through the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) website or SLK Driving School can arrange it for you. If you would like SLK Driving School of Blackpool to arrange this for you please contact us by clicking here

Practical Test

You need to apply to take your test with your local DSA centre. You can do this online (click here), but we strongly recommend you don't apply for your test until SLK Driving School thinks you're ready. SLK Driving School can also arrange your test date for you.

Provisional Licence

Before you can get behind the wheel and start learning to drive, you have to hold a provisional driving licence. To apply for your provisional driving licence, (click here) or you can pick up a form at your local Post Office. It takes about 4 weeks for your licence to be sent to you - so if you want to start learning as soon as you’re 17, make sure you apply early!
